Dr. Lewis Feldman
Professor of Plant Biology and Executive Director, UC Botanical Garden
Lewis Feldman is Professor of Plant Biology and Executive Director, UC Botanical Garden. Dr. Feldman has taught at Berkeley since 1978, receiving the Distinguished Teaching Award in 1996. Feldman's research focuses on regulation of development in meristems/stem cells, root gravitropism, and redox regulation of plant development. Dr. Feldman attended the UC, Davis, earning a B.S. and a M.S. in Botany. He received a Ph.D. in Biology from Harvard University and is a fellow of the California Academy of Sciences.
